In this illustrated early chapter book that is perfect for kids who love animals, Isaac and his family foster and train a puppy to become a service dog.
Isaac and his parents are excited to foster and train a puppy named Wendle so he can become a service dog for someone who needs him. Wendle grows fast and learns even faster, and soon Isaac and Wendle become best friends. When Wendle is ready, it's hard for Isaac to say goodbye. But when he sees how much Wendle will help his new handler Laura, Isaac knows that Wendle is where he is supposed to be. A great story about the bond between kids and animals that shows how much time and care goes into training service dogs.
