Selling The Maybe is a love story written in the shadows of the club Wild Forest-plunging readers into a hallucinatory affair born in the after-midnight chaos of the French Quarter and the unraveling of a marriage inside my writer's loft.
Braze is a writer battling fractured selves. Brightdawn the dreamer, MES the saboteur, while trying to hold onto Bella Lenin Sparks the woman who both loves him but often disappears into V.I.P. at the Rising Sun. What begins in celebration with proposals in moonlight, rain-drenched vows on Royal Street, and dreams of forever. Spirals into jealousy, echoing assumptions, and madness. Equal parts memoir and fever dream, Selling The Maybe is my confession of how hard it is to hold on when the meds, the city around you, and your own mind are pulling you apart.
