Notă biografică
Jennifer Chassman Browne has lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was six years old.
For most of her professional life, she has been an English teacher and school leader, and has loved the time that she spent with the teenagers that she taught, many of whom she still has in her life.
In her work as a DEI and Disability Advocate, Jenn educates people about the strengths and gifts that people with disabilities have. She also helps people to understand that those living with disabilities need allies, systems, and structures that ensure their access and inclusion.
Jenn has also earned certification as a listener poet and is invested in using poetry and storytelling to help build connections between people and to aid in the development of empathy, understanding, and belonging.
Natalie Brescia (b. 1994) is a U.S.-based artist working in photography, handmade books, sculpture, and installation. Raised on California's Central Coast, she draws inspiration from the natural landscapes that shaped her childhood. She earned a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an M.F.A. from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at Benrubi Gallery in New York and the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. Through portraiture, Brescia focuses on collaboration, connection, and creating meaningful images that reveal the unique character of each subject.
Dr. Donna R. Walton, EdD, is a nationally recognized disability advocate, speaker, actress, author, and Founder of the Divas With Disabilities Project, a nonprofit that amplifies the voices of disabled women of color. With more than 30 years of experience spanning higher education, government, business, and nonprofit leadership, she has advanced disability inclusion, employment, and civil rights initiatives nationwide. Author of Shattered Dreams, Broken Pieces, Dr. Walton is also an accomplished actress and sought-after speaker. Drawing on her experiences as a Black woman, above-the-knee amputee, and cancer survivor, she inspires audiences to view disability as a source of strength, leadership, and possibility.
