As well as being well written for this instrument(s)... they each pick up details of string technique which makes them very useful teaching material.
There is a lot of very expressive and attractive writing in a singularly English style.
The six Seascapes all lie in first position and range across the four strings. They are in an accessible tonal/modal style, and there are appropriate accompaniments for A sea breezeand Rippling Waves.
