Search for the Lost
Autor Coatsworth, Kim Fieldingen Limba Engleză Paperback – 7 oct 2026
Leopold Lane-after being "collected" for the Office of the Lost by Crispin Eladrin Moss'caladin-is tucked away cozily with his beloved office fae in their treehouse. Happily ever after, right? Not so fast.
Before Leo can even get settled, Crispin's mother disappears, leaving Crispin in charge and his brother Aspin in a panic. As Queen of the Fae, she has also left them a little surprise: a bit of oxymoronic magic that turns their world upside down.
Crispin and Leo set off in search of the queen and a solution to their predicament. Aspin tags along, with some less-than-helpful friends. On the way they will discover important family secrets and learn new things about each other... and themselves. Nothing is simple when Chaos and Order get involved. Besides, it wouldn't be a proper quest if it was straightforward, would it?

Notă biografică
Scott lives with his husband of 33 years, Marco, in a Sacramento, California suburb, in a cute little Italian-style villa. As a writer, he has always lived between here and now and what could be. Indoctrinated into fantasy-sci fi by his mother at the tender age of nine, he devoured her library. But as he grew up and read the golden age classics and modern works, he began to wonder where the people like him were. After he came out at twenty three, he decided it was time to create stories he couldn't find in the bookstores. If there weren't many gay characters in his favorite genres, he would reimagine them himself, populating them with men who loved men and other queer characters. He would remake them to his own ends. And if he was lucky enough, someone else would want to read them. His friends say his brain works a little differently - he sees relationships between things that others miss, and gets more done in a day than most folks manage in a week. Although he was born an introvert, he learned to reach outside himself and connect with others like him.He writes stories that subvert expectations, and transforms sci fi, fantasy, and contemporary worlds into something new and unexpected. He runs Queer Sci Fi, QueeRomance Ink, and Liminal Fiction with Marco, sites that bring people like us together to promote and celebrate fiction that reflects us.He was recognized as one of the top new gay authors in the 2017 Rainbow Awards, and his debut novel "Skythane" received two awards. In 2019, he won Rainbow Awards for three other books, and became full member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America in 2020, where he was the chair of the Indie Authors Committee for two years. He runs both the Sacramento Book Festival and the Nebulas. He has written and published more than sixty stories, including fifteen novels.
