This is the first book in history written in a first person account about the mental illness called Schizoid Personality Disorder. Schizoid P.D. is a very rare and highly misunderstood disorder. Schizoid P.D. is not a form of schizophrenia. Schizoids do not hallucinate, hear voices, or have delusions. Schizoids are more like the fictional character Walter Mitty. The major hallmark of a schizoid is the use of fantasy as an unhealthy coping mechanism. Other than the disease, other concepts in this book include addiction theory, spirituality, God, the devil, and crisis coping. The end of the book are some suggestions that have helped the author cope with the disease and life in general. Parts of the book are hard to read, yet the truth about the nature of the disease must come to light.
