Help toddlers regulate when scared feelings arise
Scared Feelings Head to Toe helps toddlers understand what fear feels like--from head to toe! Written by an expert in teaching young children about emotions, this book goes beyond facial expressions, helping you support your toddler's developing sense of self. This book:
- Introduces scared feelings with simple, toddler-friendly language
- Teaches easy tips for soothing fear, like taking deep breaths and holding someone's hand
- Encourages children to share about their feelings with words and actions, including toddler sign language
- Helps toddlers recognize and name their feelings
The Feelings Head to Toe board book series introduces feelings vocabulary, explores gentle "body cues" from head to toe, and offers age-appropriate strategies for emotional regulation. Charming full-color illustrations and a predictable structure engage toddlers' developing brains and build emotional intelligence through play, connection, and communication.
