A Jane Doe takes a header off a building and sets off an organized crime power struggle. Disgraced Homicide Detective Leo Bloomquist is sent to determine if the death is an accident or suicide, but when he decides it is murder, he has to close the case in order to keep it. Investigating on his own, Leo follows-or is he led?-the trail through a maze of murder and blackmail. When the truth comes clear, he must once again decide whether to turn a blind eye or do his duty.
