One ordinary Sunday night, ten-year-old Kyle prays an extraordinary prayer and escapes the abuse and molestation of his father's girlfriend. He falls into the arms of strangers of light who vow to save him but just as he discovers freedom, wickedness finds him again. A fight to death between good and evil ensues as night falls in the woods under the Carolina sky; but evil can never win.
