When a rookie policewoman crosses paths with a religiously-motivated serial killer, she and her partner are drawn into a manhunt like no other.
Set amid the optimism of Cool Britannia, Saints & Martyrs follows two women detectives as they track a depraved murderer whose grisly killings are each staged in imitation of a medieval martyrdom. As the body count rises, the pair's deepening friendship becomes their anchor against the horror.
Blending shocking violence with streaks of dark comedy and genuine psychological depth, this is a gripping debut thriller for fans of Martina Cole, Kate Mosse and Dan Brown.
