Sad Giraffe Cafe
Autor Richard Gwynen Limba Engleză Paperback – 11 mar 2020
Richard Gwyn's collection treads an unerringly unsteady line along the borders between dream and vivid observation, between sensual and laconic, between prose and poetry. Animas and alter-egos, ghosts of novels and travelogues, of the archaic/archetypal and of the contemporary populate the 'restless geography' where these wry and curiously wise short fictions are at home. Notă biografică
Richard Gwyn grew up in Breconshire. Following several years in London, he spent a decade travelling on and around the Mediterranean, much of it recorded in his award-winning memoir, The Vagabond's Breakfast. He is the author of three previous collections of poetry and three novels. Both his fiction and poetry are widely translated. He has travelled extensively in Latin America, resulting in the publication of The Other Tiger, his translations of Spanish American poetry (Seren Books, 2016).
