5Dan Peterson was an only child of quiet, loving, parents, who lived in a village near Doncaster. During his last year at school, he lost focus and became difficult to communicate with. He joined a local crime gang as a drug middleman, and very quickly had money and developed a worse attitude. He stopped talking to his parents, bought what he needed himself, and began taking drugs. Dan's act of rebellion now left him without friends, with distant parents and with a growing need to end his drug dependency.
