Now in paperback! An irresistibly silly, award-winning picture book about a very badly behaved cake who gets a surprising lesson in manners.
"Crammed with hilarious details and gently laced with an important lesson." -School Library Journal, starred review

Who knew cakes could be so rude?
In this deliciously entertaining book, a not-so-sweet cake-who never says please or thank you, doesn't listen to its parents, and certainly doesn't wait its turn-gets its just desserts.
With absurd humor and playful illustrations, Rowboat Watkins turns a familiar lesson about kindness and consideration into a wildly funny read-aloud. Kids will laugh at Rude Cake's outrageous behavior while discovering that, of course, no cake is ever too rude to change.
