Abner Franklin has always been Betsy's first: her first crush, kiss, hookup...and heartbreak. Even though they agreed years ago to keep their non-relationship hidden, Betsy can't help but think of Abner. Especially when Abner's twin sister teases Betsy with glimpses of the small town and the soulful boy she left behind.

Fast-forward ten years and Betsy is in a bind! Her haute couture company needs a new designer and-- to her utter shock-- Abner's name pops up as their potential savior.
