Dr. Sudhir Chandra Das is an Indian Forest Service officer. He did Masters in Agril. Chemistry and Soil Science from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya and Ph.D. in Botany from Burdwan University. He has served 33 years in West Bengal Forest Department in different capacities as ACF, DCF, CF and CCF. He has worked in World Bank funded Projects from 1993 to 2001. He has written Management Plan cum Working Plan of Buxa Tiger Reserve for the period 1999 to 2009. He has served in Mangrove Tiger-land of Sundarbans. Dr. Das has published 22 articles and 4 books. The ‘Indian Forester’ journal has awarded him the prestigious “Indian Forester Prize” for the best research paper in 2016.
Prof. T. Pullaiah is a former Professor at the Department of Botany at Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Andhra Pradesh, India. He was President of Indian Botanical Society, President of the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy. He was awarded the Panchanan Maheshwari Gold Medal, the Prof. P.C.Trivedi Medal, the Dr. G. Panigrahi Memorial Lecture award of the Indian Botanical Society and Prof. Y.D. Tyagi Gold Medal of the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy. Under his guidance 54 students obtained their doctoral degrees. He has authored 72 books, edited 44 books and published over 330 research papers, He was also a member of Species Survival Commission of the IUCN.
Dr. Hui Meng is a Researcher and Master's Supervisor specializing in the survey, conservation, and sustainable utilization of rare and endangered woody medicinal plant resources. She has extensive practical experience in the cultivation techniques, heartwood formation mechanisms, and molecular-assisted breeding of Dalbergia odorifera and Aquilaria sinensis. She has co-authored 5 books, published over 40 papers, and holds 5 authorized patents (2 commercialized). Her impactful work has been recognized with awards including the National Invention Patent Excellence Award and the First, Second, and Third Prizes of the Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards.
