Root of Evil

Rose Abernathy was a fixture around the Woodland Hills Active Adult Community. Careening around in her golf cart with her canine companion, walking the wooded trails, or reading on a bench, Rose was recognized by all. Then one day she vanished.

While four frantic neighbors try their hands at amateur sleuthing to find Rose, her husband also disappears, their home burns to the ground, and human remains are found in the ruins. When the hunt for two missing persons and an arsonist turns into a double murder investigation, the four women ignore warnings from local law enforcement and become targets themselves. Can the "snooping" group solve the mysteries before one of them is added to the list of casualties?
