Robbi Risner is fresh off the streets of Chicago. She leaves her dysfunctional family, moves to South Bend with her aunt and quickly secures a job at a local elder care facility. She meets Mr. Guthrie, a stubborn, die-hard Marine who is nearing the end of his life. Robbi takes on the challenge of making sure he has everything he needs. Then the tide turns.
