Notă biografică
Dr. Hui Li is a Professor in the College of Transportation Engineering at Tongji University, Shanghai, China and a Research Scientist in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California Davis. He received a PhD degree from the University of California Davis and a master's degree from Southeast University. Registered civil engineer of California, member of American Transportation and Environment Committee and member of youth Expert Committee of China highway society. Dr. Li’s research interests include sustainability, resilience and intelligence of urban transportation infrastructure. He has published more than 60 papers, published 2 monographs, authorized and applied for more than 30 patents, formulated 5 technical standards, and won 3 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level. He has served as a young communication expert of Engineering Journal of Chinese Academy of engineering, deputy editor in chief and editorial board member of IJTST, TRD and other journals, as well as a member of many famous international academic committees. Relevant research results have been applied to the construction of national sponge cities and green smart roads such as Xiong' an new area, Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Hangzhou Asian Games and Qinghai Tibet highway in China.
Dr. Ma has long been engaged in the research on key materials and technologies for toughening and extending the service life of infrastructure. A theory and method for improving the durability of typical engineering materials and extending the service life of key structures have been constructed, aiming to overcome scientific problems such as the performance evolution mechanism and accurate judgment of key structures and materials, as well as the rapid repair of diverse diseases and continuous targeted improvement. He has presided over 1 project of the National Key Research and Development Program (with a national allocation of 5 million yuan and a total funding of 22 million yuan), 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2 general projects and 1 youth project), 1 provincial project, and 1 key project in Shenzhen. He serves as a young editorial board member of the TOP journal "Construction and Building Materials" in the first zone of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
