Farm life in the 1980's is fun and carefree for 12 year old Justin and his younger brother Corbett. Their days are spent riding their horses along the Santiam River and helping with the daily activity of family farming. But the peaceful farm life is shattered when a rifle shot narrowly misses Justin and deadly fur traps mysteriously appear on the farm.
