Rising Above Mediocrity is a story about the life of Roy Dobbs and how his life took him full circle from the Air Force to working for Alabama Governor George Wallace back to serving as the mayor of his home town for 20 years. He encourages others through his experiences to always strive for the best and reach for the gold to rise above mediocrity.
