If he were a Hollywood celebrity, $300,000 might seem like a drop in the bucket. But for Santa Fe homebuilder Wesley Bounder, that was the sum of everything he had.

And now it's gone-stolen by the charismatic con artist Mel, who pulled a disappearing act with the hard-earned money as soon as the market went south. And after this latest botched investment deal, Wesley is feeling down to say the least, trapped in a hellish and problematic world of his own making.

Desperate to find some way to fix his troubles, Wes does the only logical thing: he embarks on a journey of revenge, determined to catch up with Mel and get his cash back.
