This book contains two stories on the subject of revenge and set in the early 1870s. "Revenge of the Forgotten" concerns a family who turns to robbing carpetbagger banks after the War between the States. One member of the family gets caught and the family does not rescue him, so he seeks revenge. "Revenge That Lingers" is about a young man who is bullied when he is young. He grows up while on a trail drive and two years later seeks his revenge.
