Ida Tody holds a diploma in Creative Writing from Stratford Career Institute, Saint Albans, Vermont, as well as a diploma in Psychology/Social Work.

She also holds the title of ordained minister from United Faith Ministry, Department of Education, Miami Florida, U.S.A. and an Evangelical Missionary license with The Church of God in Christ.
