Mark is a talented marksman with a murdered daughter and a fragile marriage. When he is forced to resign from his regiment, he is recruited by a covert, multi-national organisation. Their expedient philosophy of sacrificing the life of a tyrannical dictator in order to save the lives of thousands, is secretly financed and supported by the governments of most democratic nations. Mark's new role is to target oppressive tyrants and dictators. This takes him to Damascus, Beirut, Kenya and Somalia. Here he is distracted by the lovely Judy who brings another threat to his relationship with Liz. Finally Mark confronts a nest of ruthless pirates with connections in high places.
