Mehmet Serkan Kirgiz is a professor at İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Turkey. He has previously worked as full professor at various universities in both Turkey and the USA. He has authored/edited several peer-reviewed articles published in high-impact SCI/SCI-E journals and books indexed in Scopus. Professor Kırgız’s teaching portfolio spans a wide range of subjects, including Beginning Survey, Basic CAD, Soil Mechanics and Materials Testing, Architectural Drafting, Intermediate Surveying and GPS, Construction Staking, Construction Inspection and Project Management, Land Surveying, Eco‑Sensitive Design, Project Design, Properties of Construction Materials, Estimating, Statics, Strength of Materials, Building Structural Analysis, Construction Project Management, Building Energy Optimization, Conservation, and multiple areas within Civil, Transportation, Geotechnical, Energy, Sustainability, and Architectural Engineering.
