Jonathan Ziel, an army veteran and associate at a marketing firm, has always believed in God and America. Determined to change the world view of the Russian people, he volunteers to be a missionary with the Jesus' Crusaders Mission Society. While serving at a small nondenominational church in the city of Nizhniy Novgorod, he urges the members to embrace American values if they ever hope to settle the spiritual and economic turmoil troubling the country after the recent fall of communism.
