Cousins Beth and Patrick have a problem. They need to leave the country of Lithuania before the Nazis arrive. But their friend Leza and her family are in worse trouble. They are Jews, and Nazis don't like Jews. They must find a way to flee or become Nazi prisoners. Their one hope is Chiune Sugihara, called Sempo. He represents the nation of Japan in Lithuania. He can issue the travel papers they need.
