Mothers, Daughters, Eating Disorders, DyingReflections is a story of the life journey between a daughter and her mother. My relationship with my mother became complicated when, as a young adult woman, I began the search for "my personal truth in life." I embraced many of Mother's truths. Troubling to me was the message, "At all costs, women must always be very thin." In her final years, our journey together brought role reversals, and I had sacred time to bring healing to our relationship and to finish the circle of life with her.
