All Oliver Stylus wants is a relaxing third year at Long Island's prestigious Indra Academy. That isn't easy when his school is rumored to be haunted, and everyone wants in on the secrets. While grappling to understand what's real and what isn't, Oliver is introduced to Tyler Lynn, a runaway twelve-year-old boy with a plagued past of his own. It seems his pull to Indra Academy is stirred by fate rather than chance. Forces beneath the school are awakening under Tyler's arrival. They whisper different tales to him and Oliver, and the boys do their best to ignore these calls. But when a strange man summons Tyler with promises of freedom and security, the troubled boy can't turn his offer down, especially if it means fixing his broken family and keeping Indra Academy from harm's way. Now, Oliver and three other students must retrieve Tyler, following him into a new world of magic, buried history, and royal schemes. Should they fail, the strings of fate between them will go down in an emperor's blazing glory. More than Indra Academy is on the line as they unravel a plot that could change the world as everyone knows it.
