For years, I assumed motherhood would be part of my story.
It was simply what came next: the career, the house, marriage, and children.
Then life took me somewhere I never expected.
Rebellious Freedom is my deeply personal journey through pregnancy loss, anxiety, healing, and the messy process of questioning everything I thought my life was supposed to look like.
Somewhere along the way, the question changed.
It was no longer "Will I become a mother?"
It became "Do I actually want to?"
And answering that question meant confronting expectations that reach far beyond my own life - the ones that still tell women what fulfilment, womanhood and a successful life are supposed to look like.
This isn't a book written to persuade you to become childfree.
It's a book about choice and trusting yourself enough to question the script. It's about discovering who you are underneath everyone else's expectations. And about realising that choosing a different life doesn't make it a lesser one.
