Due to the success of RWI, Ruth Miskin is currently involved in a series of nationwide training programmes for primary schools commissioned by the UK government, aimed at training teachers in effective phonics teaching.
In 2007 the UK's Channel 4 broadcast a series of programmes featuring Ruth Miskin working in a failing school, using the RWI programme to raise standards.
