At what point do you say, "Enough"? It doesn't matter how desperate you feel to keep someone in your life, you should be willing to let go of any bad relationship that keeps hurting you...your sense of self, your values, and most certainly, your standards. It hurts me when some of my coaching clients tell me unbelievable stories of how they keep begging somebody who doesn't treat them with love or respect, to stay with them in a relationship or marry them. "I love you, I love you, I love you.... Please come back to me... I can't live without you...," and after all the begging they are still treated worse than before, that is not the kind of relationship you want for yourself. It's not healthy. Most women/men would rather have some crumbs rather than no crumbs because the relationship has robbed them of the strength to leave. That's not your portion in Jesus name By accepting a bad relationship, what you're basically saying is, "I don't love myself. I don't care how people treat me. I don't want the best for me. I don't respect myself." It's simply saying, I don't think that I can do without you... yeah... I know you don't treat me right, but it's better than nothing at all"
