Every day, Raina watches her family soar into the sky on the backs of their beloved birds. But she is still too small to bond with one-and she longs for a bird of her very own. When the monstrous Shadow Cat begins to terrorise the clan, Raina's dreams seem further away than ever. Then, just when her luck could not possibly get any worse, something magnificent happens. Now, only the Shadow Cat stands between Raina and her happiness, threatening the very existence of the Starlight Clan. How do you chase a shadow? And how can a family of tiny beings rise to such a grand adventure? This is only the beginning.
