Raging Gracefully
Autor Dawn Daisen Limba Engleză Hardback – 4 mai 2027
Perimenopause is a bizarre, confusing, and at times downright rude life transition that sneaks up when least expected, bearing gifts of hot flashes, hormonal rage, insomnia, brain fog, and a sex life gone ass over teakettle—to name just this morning's symptoms.
Like a cool breeze through the sweat and unexplained hair growth, Raging Gracefully gives you something to laugh about (because if you're not laughing, you might just cry . . . and haven't you already done that three times today for no discernable reason?). More than 100 affirmations help you start each day with a positive outlook:
- I am cool, calm, and collected (because I have a bag of frozen peas in my bra).
- My spirit shines from within (or maybe that's just heartburn; something is on fire, that much I know).
- I am grounded and comfortable in my own skin (which, unfortunately, is itchy in places I can't address in public).
Reframe this time of life as an absurdly comedic milestone—one that comes with its own set of challenges, mysteries, and (yes) joys. At a time when 50-year-old women are represented by Naomi Watts and Charlize Theron instead of Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan, this is the menopause book you'll actually enjoy reading, laughing at, and sharing with your fellow overheated pals.

Notă biografică
Dawn Dais is a freelance writer and designer who has made a career out of making fun of the "newbie experience." Whether tackling pregnancy, parenting, or running, Dawn has been there, stumbled through it, and somehow survived to tell the tale—usually with a healthy dose of sarcasm. Her previous books include The Pickleball Handbook, The Sh!t No One Tells You series, and The Nonrunner’s Marathon Guide for Women. Dawn lives in Roseville, California, with her partner, their four kids, two dogs, three chickens (unfortunate quarantine decision), two cats, and the occasional mouse brought home by said cats.
