The Fourth Day is about multiple murders on the PGA Tour; murders that have gone unsolved until Jim Balfour becomes obsessed with finding answers. A former Tour player, Balfour's search leads him to suspect a serial killer is walking the fairways and he makes it his mission to convince the authorities he is right. When Balfour's meddlesome actions become a threat to the killer and the lifestyle he loves, he retaliates as only he can.
