Quantum Lives
Autor H. F. Patelen Limba Engleză Paperback – 14 aug 2026
At 18, Anahita dreams of passion and independence, of love tinged just with the right amount of heartache to make it even more piquant, of living her life fully and on her own terms.
But will life be a stronger current bending her to its will? Is heartache worth the piquancy? Do independence and limitless possibilities come with a price too high to pay?
Quantum Lives is the journey of a young woman. A woman who learns that resilience is power and love is the force that pushes us forward.
Quantum Lives is the story of me. And of You.
This is a little gem of a book. I found myself completely absorbed in it. It is a lovely read and deeply impactful.
- Preetha Leela Chockalingam, author of A Chera Adventure
Vulnerable and unsettling, yet undeniably feel-good.

Notă biografică
H. F. Patel grew up in India and moved to France as a young adult to continue her higher studies. After obtaining a master's degree in communications and journalism from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, she went on to join the Embassy of India in Paris as a translator and interpreter. She later moved to the region of Lyon, where she has now been working as an English trainer and life coach for the past 20 years.
Her Parsi upbringing, coupled with her personal life path, where she has lived and assimilated two rather different cultures-Indian and French-gives her a unique perception of the people and circumstances around her.
People inspire her-she always wonders what has made them who they are, why they've made the choices they did, their particular circumstances, their personal fears and how, ultimately, they've come to be content or just resigned to their fate. Her writing is empathetic; she doesn't believe in first impressions but rather in second chances.
Today, Havovi travels regularly between India, France and Greece. She lives with her two children, long-term partner, her menagerie of dogs and cats and her Kindle and her piles of books in a little town in south-east France.
