Meet Jaime. Dark Angel. Mother. Betrayed. Everyone has a dark side where their inner demons roam. When the devils of our nightmares murder in their sleep, only one can stop them. Jaime Connor was once one of the mightiest archangels in heaven. Sent to earth to stop demons from claiming another victim in their sleep, she has battled far too long. Tired of all the killing, she awaits the demon who will overpower her and send her back to heaven. Yet her life lingers on and a dream she can’t remember plagues her thoughts. Only remnants of her memory remain in the image of a gorgeous demon who circled her before the kill—the scent of Ireland on his breathe, a brogue on his tongue, and the sea in his penetrating eyes. The demon must have died. She never would have woken if he hadn’t. That’s how it works. How it’s always worked. So why did he appear in her world the next day? And why is he trying to seduce her? Will he be the fated one to finally steal the life of the strongest dark angel the world has ever known? If she’s lucky, that will be all he steals. "With compelling characters, interesting subplots and plenty of paranormal action Purgatory’s Angel is the kind of book that keeps one up at night! Kudos to Ms. Hughes-Millman for some of the most well-written action scenes this reviewer has ever had the pleasure of reading!" – InD'tale ¿¿¿¿¿ AUTHOR INTERVIEW Q: Why do you write? A: For years, ideas and dreams have haunted my mind throughout my days. Always the daydreamer, I finally decided to put my thoughts into written form. Writing, for me, is a way to drive the demons from my mind, to find peace in my sleep. So, when you ask what writing is for me, I would say it is the mediator between the sleeping world and the hours I’m awake; the fidget spinner that keeps my mind sane. Q: What books do you write? A: Urban Fantasy Romance is my genre. Adult stories with a dark twist, that give me the freedom to create what, to some, may be unthinkable. I write dark stories with brooding characters who are deeply flawed. I don’t like protagonists who are too pure. I can’t find interest in anyone without a past. And the same must be true of my characters in my stories. The struggle for them is real. The romance is unrestrained. And the passion that they feel for whatever steals their attention, or steels their soul, should bleed across the page. DARK ANGEL PURGATORY’S ANGEL (book 1) RESURRECTION’S ANGEL (book 2) Q: Why should readers pick up your books? A: Not every reader should pick up my stories. Anyone who is looking for a clean romance with a pure protagonist is looking on the wrong shelf if they’ve selected one of my novels. If you are looking for a story that will lead you down a dark, twisted path, one you hadn’t expected to find, my Dark Angel novels are perfect for you. If you like romance, suspense and dark twists with a little humor thrown in, you’ll love the Dark Angel Series.
