In the present research work, "Internal Control in the Management of Contract Works in the Provincial Municipality of Melgar - Ayaviri, periods 2020 - 2021, Its objective is to determine the influence of internal control in the management of contract works in the Municipality Provincial de Melgar - Ayaviri in the periods 2020 -2021, responding to why there are deficiencies, is that the provisions issued by the Comptroller General of the Republic are not complied with and present there are shortcomings in the application of Internal Control processes regarding the Contract Works Management, which is weakened and thus influencing the quality of the entity's performance. The research methodology that will be used are the following: analytical, descriptive, explanatory, and inductive method. The techniques that will be used for the elaboration and fulfillment of the objectives of this thesis: observation, questionnaire and documentary analysis.
