Ranjan Kumar Ghadai is an accomplished Mechanical Engineer and Assistant Professor with a strong background in research and teaching. He holds a M-Tech and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering, Science & Technology, Shibpur, India along with a B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. India. He has over 9 years of teaching and research experience. Currently, he is working as an Assistant professor (Senior Scale) in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India. He has published more than 68 SCI/Scopus indexed research articles. His broad research area includes thin film coating deposition, Process Optimization, Aluminium Metal Matrix Composites. Currently he is handling two sponsored projects as PI and one as Co-PI. He has guided three PG students and currently guiding 4 PhD students. Also, he is the reviewer of many peered reviewed journals like Robotics and Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Advances in Manufacturing, Surface and Interface, Materials Chemistry and Physics etc.. He has given talk in many conferences and workshop as a resource person. He has edited 2 books and 4 conference proceeding.
Soham Das is a distinguished academic and researcher with a rich educational background and extensive experience in the field of materials science and hard coatings. He earned his B.E. degree from Hitkarini College of Engineering and Technology (HCET), India in 2010, followed by M. Tech from NITTR Kolkata, India in 2013. In 2020, he successfully completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Nanotechnology. Dr. Das has a remarkable teaching career spanning over a decade, coupled with 8 years of dedicated research experience. He has contributed significantly to the scientific community with 32 international publications in SCI/Scopus journals and has secured research project funding exceeding 15 lakhs. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim Manipal University, Dr. Das specializes in the research areas of nano materials, hard coatings, composites, and optimization using Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques. At present Dr. Das is supervising one full-time PhD scholar and one PG student under him.
Manoj Gupta was a former Head of Materials Division of the Mechanical Engineering Department and Director designate of Materials Science and Engineering Initiative at NUS, Singapore. He did his Ph.D. from University of California, Irvine, USA (1992), and postdoctoral research at University of Alberta, Canada (1992). He has published over 545 peer reviewed journal papers and owns two US patents and one Trade Secret. His current h‐index is 79 and citations are greater than 23700. He has also co‐authored six books, published by John Wiley, Springer and MRF ‐ USA. He is Editor‐in‐chief/Editor of twelve international peer reviewed journals. In 2018 he was announced as the World Academy Championship Winner in the area of Biomedical Sciences by International Agency for Standards and Ratings. A multiple award winner, he actively collaborate/visit Japan, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, China, USA and India as a visiting researcher, professor and chair professor. His ORCID id is 0000-0002-2248-8700.
