Lewis S. Blevins Jr. M.D. is a neuroendocrinologist, professor of medicine and neurological surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, medical director of the California Center for Pituitary Disorders at the University of California, San Francisco, and is the co-founder of Pituitary World News.
A leading figure in the medical world, he has authored and edited several books on topics including acromegaly, Cushing's syndrome, the art of neuroendocrinology, Cushing's, diabetes insipidus, pituitary tumors, pituitary disorders and hypopituitarism.
In addition to his medical writings, Dr. Blevins has published a travelogue regarding his experiences in Ireland as well as a science fiction novel, "2345," about time travel.
