Notă biografică
Robert Hammann studied physics at the University of Heidelberg. In 2021, he joined the XENON dark matter experiment in the group at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, where he completed both his master's and Ph.D. theses under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Teresa Marrodán Undagoitia.
Within the international collaboration, he played a key role in two of the experiment's flagship analyses, with a focus on statistical inference, and served as co-lead of the simulations, modeling, and statistics group from 2023 to 2025. In parallel, he conducted research and development on infrared scintillation in liquid and gaseous xenon, which has the potential to improve future xenon-based particle detectors.
His Ph.D. was awarded with highest distinction, and he received the Van Bibber Fellowship to support three years of postdoctoral research at Stanford University, where he will continue his work.
