Priscilla is a perfectionist and loves doing things right, but like all kids, Priscilla is not perfect.
When things don't go as planned, Priscilla and all her friends get caught in the wake of her perfect storms! Priscilla can feel when her storm is starting:
The room went dark. I heard the Thunder Roar.
I could only feel the stress! And then it began to pour!
My Friends all got upset. They are so tired of my mess.
Everyone grabbed an umbrella. Why can't I do my best?
With guidance and instruction from her mom, Priscilla learns how to manage her emotions when she makes mistakes. Rather than unleashing a wave of anger and frustration, Priscilla learns the important social emotional skills of staying calm and practicing self-control. In the process, she discovers that social success includes trying hard and having fun as well as being right.
Help your young perfectionist conquer their melt-downs and tantrums.
Extend the learning with Priscilla and the Perfect Storm Activity Guide.
