Notă biografică

David Healey was born in in 1944 and brought up in Cornwall. he qualified as a doctor at guy's hospital and subsequently worked in Papua New Guinea. on his return he became a rural GP in Suffolk. for many years he was involved with wildlife conservation as a member of Suffolk wildlife trust. his first wife Annabel, better known as Anni, died in 2004. he has since remarried building a new life with Ann in Felixstowe. He helps look after his grandson archie, who is very disabled. His previous poetry collections include; Slowing the afternoon down, Sleeping among yaks, Searching for cowries, The radar girl and Beyond the next valley.
