The purpose of this book is to provide the Body of Christ with a resource to help build their individual skill level in the place of prayer. God receives extreme pleasure in answering prayer in concert with His will. 1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. The heart of this prayer manual is to help believers improve in praying accurately according to the Word of God. When we pray according to the Word of God; we are praying according to what God has already established in Scripture. This is praying with understanding. Many times believers prayers are not answered because we have prayed amiss. James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it] upon your lusts. The word "Amiss" means to pray wrong based on selfish motives and desires. God only obligates Himself to His plans and purposes. Ephesians 1:11 says; In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:: Strategic and effective prayer is not just praying fervently but praying correctly based on what God has already declared in His Word. God's Word is sovereign and will always prosper in what He has sent it to accomplish. Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing] whereto I sent it. The Father magnifies His Word above His name. If Our Father places so much weight and value on His Word; we will do well to do the same. Psalm 138:2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
