Majorly, forgiveness and remission have to do with the removing or doing away with the guilt that result from our wrong doings. By it, state of peace, harmony and brotherly love can be restored between the two parties; that is, the aggrieved and the griever. According to Baker dictionary, forgiveness is "ceasing to feel resentment for wrongs and offenses; pardon, involving restoration of broken relationships." Forgiveness must be granted without reservation and no limit should be set to its operations. When you forgive a person, you have certainly released yourself and your offender from judgment.
