In this book, the poverty level in eastern Nigeria is a case to study especially the people of Nsirimo AmaiseAutonomous Community in Umuahia, the state capital of Abia state.This intrigue is to address the effect of poverty that has engulfed the five (5) communities in Nsirimo namely; Umuako, Umumba, Umuaha, Umuezu and Umuerim. The experimental samples which was analyzed and validated were gotten from the community heads of each village, the local statistic offices, and the state government liaison office of Abia state and from local journalist from media stations of each village from the period of 2004 to 2011. The analysis was conducted on Pentium IV, 2.5GB Memory, 40GB Hard disk, 1.2 GB Processor and Microsoft Excel package.
