Torn away from their loved ones in the midst of a family picnic, Sue Johnson's husband, Roy, and his brother, Lynn, find themselves in an unfamiliar and never imagined environment. They are confronted first with giant animal and insect life then tribes of people; each with their own languages and customs. Even the weather is dangerous.
