Polished Grit: Frequency Shift, cartea Two

V.M. LaFountain is a prolific author of high fantasy and speculative fiction, best known for the immersive world-building of the Eclarona Chronicles and the atmospheric, "Crescent City Noir" of the Frequency Shift series. Her work frequently explores themes of artistic liberation, the breaking of cycles, and the resilience of the human spirit against supernatural odds.A resident of rural Vermont with deep roots in the Green Mountains, LaFountain draws on the contrast between her quiet, historic surroundings and the vibrant, neon-soaked rhythms of the urban settings she brings to life on the page. Her latest release, Blinded Ascent, marks a pivotal evolution in the Frequency Shift anthology, following the success of previous titles including Structured Grief.Beyond the keyboard, Victoria is a dedicated gamer and a collector of vintage cow creamers and studio art pottery. When she isn't dismantling time loops or crafting fictional lore for her upcoming Eclarona cookbook, she can be found streaming for her "ChubClub" community or navigating the creative chaos of life with her family and her female cat, Chaos. With a professional background in talent acquisition and a lifelong passion for the arts, LaFountain crafts narratives that are as sharp as a wing of eyeliner and as enduring as a New Orleans live oak.
