Point Sunrise is the story of two childhood friends growing up in Richmond and later attending West Point together. When secession begins in 1860-61, the cadets have to decide whether to stay loyal to the Union or go home to Virginia and the Confederacy. This puts them on a path with severe challenges in the aftermath of their decisions.
