I took the PMP and passed it without a class, boot camp, or spending any money beyond the registration and the test itself. What's more, I have never even seen the PMBOK, let alone read the thing. There is just too much noise around the PMP certification that you don't need but yet is hard to ignore. All you need to pass, really, are three things: 1 Take as many free practice exams as possible 2 Only use study material from the recent past 3 Take notes based on the way your brain works The first two are intuitive.
